Today we were able to attend a PPG Color & Paint trend presentation held at the NHRA Museum in Pomona. We only had about 10 minutes to quickly go through it on our way out, but here's some of what I did get to see...
I see Jim Lattin's Hilborn Streamliner in there. I'd love to see that in person. A lot of different stuff in there since I was there last January. Wouldn't you love to work there??
Ya, it was an awesome way to spend an afternoon at work. It did seem a bit cramped, hopefully it can expand someday.
Nope, I must've missed that. I'll be planning a return trip where I can really spend some quality time looking at everything.
Hotrodladycrusr and I spent a morning there last week during our visit to the GNRS. I had been there before but there was still a lot to see! I really enjoyed the Barris display in the cabinets, the pictures and the text were very informative. Watch for her post for many many more pictures from there!
i almost caused a scene there on saturday when i noticed that the rear tires on "the bug" were radials. instead i went back sunday and made a donation in hopes that they would put proper tires on it. maybe they won't. who cares. it really is an insignificant detail considering how unbelievable the rest of the place is. they really do a nice job. maybe they're not done with "the bug".
