What would be a fair value for front & rear axle ***emblies complete w/ radius rods & drive shaft? ***ume average condition - used as roller axles under project car.

This info request is to help me in buying these parts - I do not have them yet.
I will post any parts for sale later.

    Thanks - James

    Axle - $75
    Front wishbone - $100
    Rear radius rods - $200

Anything not listed here really isn't worth messing with.

When you say $75 for "axle", does that mean the front straight axle beam or each rear axle shaft or the whole front or rear axle ***embly? The same word can have different meanings to different people.
    Thanks, JA

It is my understanding that the rear axle housings are good ones if someone wants to do the 8" Ford upgrade. Because the spring perches attached to the radius rods are more inboard that later rears, there is more room for the work necessary to do the brake upgrade. I was thinking about going that route once and it seems like that was the case.

Oh yeah, one other thing. If you got the original hollow driveshaft, used before Ford went with the solid rod and center bearing in the torque tube, that is the animal someone can make a genuine set of zoomie type of headers with. So, there is another part worth something.

Check on the 'bay and you can get some ideas of what things go for.

  7. I gave an empty 9in ford diff housing and $100 for my complete, unmolested set of rolling 35/36 axles. I gave $400 for a complete, rolling set of 39 axles with brakes and this spring I paid $100 for a rolling set of 47 axles and brakes... Most of the steet rod types just want that old junk out of their yard...

I paid $100 for a complete in practically new condition 35' axle wishbones and brakes. It was cover in dirty grease and when I powerwashed clean it was like new! The king pins have NO slop or anything, it's awsome! $100:D I have been hanging onto it for two years almost...
