350 Chev. fireing order

    With #1 on TDC and the rotor pointing to #1 is firing order clock wise or counter clockwise ?

    if you are ever in doubt, look at the vacuum advance. 99% of the time, the rotor spins opposite the direction it points, or clockwise on chevys

    Unless you have put a different cam in it. The firing order may have changed

    I've always wanted to call up a small engine repair business and ask what the firing order of a Briggs lawnmower engine is. My mind is somewhat warped.

    Many cams for early small block chevys can be purchased with 4 and 7 switched in firing order,there is a minor power increase. The LS style late model motors in trucks , corvette, and F bodys don't share the old firing order
