I am building a fenderless hot rod that is running a 1952 331 Hemi, which is basically stock. I have a late 30's Chrysler grill shell that I will be using over the radiator. I have already mocked up a 65 Mustang radiator which fits just fine, but I'm wondering whether it will have enough capacity for the small hemi. Are there any other radiator options I can turn to before going out and having a custom one made? Any comments will be appreciated.
btt- I will be doing the same thing -hemi 331 useing a 28 model a grill shell with same radiator as 51chevPU- also interested in what you guys think -will it be sufficient
I used a mustang radiator on a roadster years ago it had a 350 Nwe roadster has Olds 303 choice of radiator in 32 ford truck grill Mustang They can be found cheap and will do the job Also Cools in Phoenix AZ summer heat You need to remember no fenders no hold in heat That Hemi has alot of capacity I also thought same issue on the Olds 303 with Mustang radiator Still holds 4.5gallon Good luck Ray
