I was told last week about a '62 Ranch Wagon. I loaded up the trailer and family to see this "rust free low mileage car". 3 hours later I was standing in front of a POS. The rust was the only thing holding it together. The guy told me on the phone NO rust. Hell I could see through most of the floorboard, not to mention the back of the car. The good news, I found a trunk for my 5 window coupe and he also had two '33 2 door sedan for sale and it will take both to make one maybe. Thought I would share. Well, at least something good came out of it! And be happy ya didn't travel further to see some rust bucket, like some people I know. Everything happens for a reason....
At least you did not buy it sight unseen! The next treasure might be just around the next corner! You just GOTTA GO LOOK! What is the true meaning of "RUST FREE"?
Mabe he was talking about the exterior parts of the body. Was he wearing dark gl***es and carrying a long cain? LOL
