Perfect chop there and that motor is going to look *****in in that thing. I saw an A locally at the GG show in Puyallup with a 343/409 in it and it was pretty cool. What is that about 4" off the top?

Nice Looking A, and love the chop.
Saw an A with 409 at one of the Billet Proof roundups in Antioch, CA a couple of years ago and just love the look of the car.

    Take a look,

here is how i channeled the cowl of my 30

First i cut out the support
    [IMG]

with that out of the way, i could drop the cowl over the frame the necessary 3/4 of an inch to hide the gap.

The so-cal frame i have is not as narrow as i would have liked in the cowl area, there is a gap between the firewall and cowl sides.

so i pie cut the supports to make it look right

I welded all of that up and used the origional support to make the new foot.

i think it came out ok

and i just got my intake the other day

  14. I really like your rear axle mounted roll arounds! Looks like you are going to have a neat ride when you are finished.

You have a great project going here. Keep it up! Gonna be one killer ride, for sure.

What trans. are you using behind the 409?

Great job so far I want to see how you build your rear sub rails. I will be watching your build closely for ideas.

    Firestone's 750 on 16x4.5
Now its starting to look like something
The body should drop a good 1-2 inches once i get some weight in there, or take out some leafs.
