Datsun somethingorother, maybe? In the thumbnail it looked a little bit like an MGB, but grille and post position don't look right.

    That or a volvo.

"All these rusty heaps are mine!" I can just see the face of the hoarder that died with all that crap in his yard. A handfull of those would keep a guy busy for life, one would be more than enough for most of us. I don't understand the needless hoarding.

Yeah they might have been hoarded but they will be on the market soon. In a way its good there are hoarders, otherwise all this stuff would have been gone years ago. :)

about $ 1700 +/- per unit it comes out to.

That Mustang Fastback will bring $6-7,000 pretty easy just at is sits.
The Mustang Convertable will bring $ 3-5,000

The what looks like a Ford Model B 400 but in deed may be an old Chrysler ....well thats the gem of the lot for sure and I coold see 10-20K to the right guy for sure.

With the couple of Volvo's I saw - getting $ 1750 for each to the cult Volvo collectors is not out of the question.

There looks like a 41 Ford that might be a 3-4 K car depending on how complete it is.

A Lot of tractor guys I'm sure will wabt to scrounge the group.

There appears to be some other good tin for sure and the trucks are at least $ 1,000 units as they sit - maybe more if they run. Guys are always looking for 50's beater trucks to look cool in.

Collectors like that guy, are the very reason we still have projects left, otherwise they would of been scraped years ago, my hat off to any, and all collectors out there, it's not as easy as one would think to be able to hold onto such a collection in this world we live in as more and more people view it as junk. On a side note, if I had the cash, and means, I would of thought the buy it now would of been reasonable, but of course I would of tried to offer 150K, but still worth every penny.

Checking the listing that was included in the ad leads me to believe this is the '31 studebaker coupe, Big, heavy, expensive looking-typical of a Studey President.

I don't know but it seems like you are buying a lot of blue sky and hard work on that deal at 195k. You can probably just get your money back but what's the point in that? Old cynical bastard's viewpoint I know but I have bought out pack-rats before it's a lot of work. Just my humble opinion.

If they actually paid $195 for it that averages out to about $2000 per car. Most of those cars will be lucky to fetch a few hundred bucks, even if they were scrapped. It would be pretty hard to even recoup the cost, let alone make money on that deal.

I hope the buyer is a rodder or restorer that can make use of the cars, or get them to people that can.

Agreed also there is alot of junk in there, and alot of duplicate pictures, but if I had the money, it would be worth going out there in person and checking it out for sure, I have actually heard stories of hoards like this with a hidden Duesenberg in the mix, you really never know But either way you look at it, there are fewer and fewer of these hoards still availible.

Yep, all it takes is a couple of good ones to make it a bargain.
