It's a great little magazine. Lots of cool stuff in every issue. It's a little pricey because it comes from Begium. You get to see a lot of cool cars & shows from Europe as well as shows from here.
I agree, it's one of my top 3 mags too. You can get most of the recent ones from www.thehotrodcompany.com He's "side valve" here on the HAMB and he is from your area (to the guy who orginally started this thread, he's in WI too). He gives free shipping to HAMBer's.
i think jerry, the editor/founder, is on the hamb if i remember correctly as well. Think it's "Jerry_Rolls&Pleats" GREAT little mag. Still haven't subscribed yet. Bought my first one back in like 2000 or so. Think it's about time.
Definately *****in....i started getting it when i was in high school (peasly 8 years ago). The editor also always posts a preview on the hamb..... do a search for it!
True, it may be "pricy" (since most fullsized monthly mags cost just as much). BUT like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for"! I don't mind paying for a great magazine. i also like the fact (unless they've changed? haven't bought one in about a year unfortunately) that they aren't "glossy" like the full sized magazines. For some reason, it's just better looking that way. Great layout too, and great info on the cars. most other mags don't tell you anything about the car. just pictures.
