Houston HAMBer Cruze "night" Feb. 2008!

Chi Chi is a HAMB Cruze veteran.

The two guys checking out John's(Jabber) Chevy brought out this '58 pickup, on a '80 Chevy frame.


Couple restored bikes showed up, including a nice triumph, and a rare Italian job I'd never heard of.

I rode in this chopped '28 sedan with owner Brian (BBobb) from his shop in Kemah about 50 mi. away. First trip on the freeway, drove great, even hit a little rain to test the new winsheild wiper.

Of course that windshield wiper and makes it an official "streetrod".

 

It also has a heater in it . Whats next, a/c ?

 

Oh, snap! I forgot about you guys ragging Brian about his "luxuries". I'll up his "street cred" by saying it rides a little rough over big bumps. As far as A/C, The Ugly Truck will eventually get the vintage Mark IV underdash hooked up. Us fat guys sweat easily.

 

Had fun out there last night, decent turn out this time. There was alot more bikes than usual. I thought the little A-bone sedan was pretty killer, even with A/C and heaters and windshield wipers.

 

I'm giving him a hard time just cause he has the same barber as me.

That sedan was clean. It just needs to be louder. MUCH LOUDER.

 

That's just because you are old and deaf. It was plenty loud while ring in it. Not too loud to yell over, just quiet enough to keep the po-lice off our ***.

 

Thanks Richard D for the pics. Its the frst pic i have now. that was me and my brother. It was good to see everyone. Havent been out in a while so i colud have something to ride in.
