Please ignore my kid standing in front of the car, the T hasn't been stolen or anything, I sold it some time ago and wonder what became of it. It is actually a '24 C-cab truck with the top removed and a rag-top fitted. Engine is a B-18 four cylinder Volvo with a Volvo 4-speed transmission so it's pretty unique. The wheels which were modified Buick Skylark wires were replaced with aluminum wheels by the guy i sold it to. The last location that I'm sure of was Whidbey Island near Seattle Washington. Anybody know where it is now?
Yeah, both of my sons really liked the T, like everyone else that was another one that shouldn't have been sold. Btw the kid is now 30 years old with some gray hair, time flies when you're having fun.
it would be cool to find the truck and get another pic with the kid again good luck with you search..
i love the truck!!! i hope you can find it again. i had a friend who had a 50 merc in high school and sold it sometime after he graduated. about 30 or so years later he went to Missouri to buy one similar to it. when he was taking the car apart he found out that it was his car he had in high school!!!! now the car sits proudly in his garage after getting it back from Gene Winfields and im telling you it is super slick!!!! its been in a Street Rodder and Rod and Custom several times. So dont give up it is out there somewhere!!!!
Best of luck in your search. I bought a house with a '59 348 Nomad in it, unfortunately the 348 was out for a 327. I needed the shop for other things and could not store the wagon anywhere so I ended up listing it for sale. It eventually sold to a previous owner who still had the 348 and was going to make it whole again. It's funny how things come around sometimes.
I hope if you find it you won't be disappointed like I was. My 34 P/U was tubbed and a hydraulic lift and dump bed was added like the mini-trucks of a few years ago when I found it. He was proud as punch. I almost lost my lunch. Good luck with your search.
