i would lrun shockwaves and you half to do some t******* on the outside of the frame.. pretty quick installation
Here is an S10, but I think its pretty much the same. Plus he is using a 2600lb bag which is larger in diameter, but runs at a lower pressure, which is a better ride. He also used A-arms designed for air bags, which are nice, but not required. I am sure I have a lot more pics I can round up if you need http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f125/...-es72-hs72-bag-s10-front-install-pics-166941/
just did 75 front steer with art cool ride kit, just a little triming of spring pocket, shockwaves would be a cleaner install but double the price, simple install
Yup. total time involved is well worth the extra change. and they're adjustable like a coilover, so you can tailor the ride to how YOU like it. I recently installed a set on a 64 Galaxie...Impressive. The handling was really, really nice.
This may count as a partial hi-jack, but I would love more detail about how to do this. I'm running a camaro clip and am seriously considering bags. Anyone have anymore detail?
air ride has a kit for the camaro front ends for the shockwaves, i installed it on a customers shoebox awhile ago. dont remember if they have a set up for just the bags. if you run just bags you will have to relocate the shocks and it can get tight on where to mount them.
im gonna run 2600 bags, i dont favor the sleeve bags all to much, is it the same as baggin a 50's bomb? trim and reinforce the "top hat" , smooth out the lower control arm so the bag sits flush and use the tubing on top the bag to account for the larger spring that was taken out?
