Very nice find. To sit at the head cool kid spot, I'd recommend leaving the fenders on, no chop, no channel, and no hood, with something like a Cad or Olds for the mill.
If you REALLY want to be cool in my book, I can help you out. I'll trade you a leather jacket for that ol' car, and I'll even pay the shipping.
me likeeee! A coupes are bomb- I'd suggest using the fenders 'cause they look nice! I got a hemi in my shop and it's not mine either....waaa waaaaaa.....
No you cant!....it aint done yet! Dam..niether can I..im not done with mine ..****..But i still got a cool leather coat...ya intersted?
See Jethro, THIS is where you ask for pics of traditional 60's style rods! the ones I posted on Canadian Rodder came from here
Nice! I'll chime in and repeat the fenders, no chop, no channel, no hood. And a BIG caddy engine would look very nice out front too.......
Funny you mention the "logo"...I just did some detective work . I gave the emblem a slight shave with a razor blade to get the paint that was brushed over the emblem. It looks like a water slide decal and I can make out the letters SW and the words Canadian limited. The only Canadian company that came to mind was Swift meats beacause there was a packing plant near where I grew up in Edmonton. I searched the trademarks and found this..... The trade mark was registered August 12 1929
i say keep it fendered... smaller slicks in the back, lils in the front... a nice powerplant like a caddy or olds, a lasalle or a toploader, and drive it.. but looks like it should end up a NICE NICE car in the end... paint and all i hope
