Im building a feral pick up based on a 22 dodge, it will have a suicide 36 front end and a model rear leaf and cross member. This is a budget job,my goal is to have it on the road for $5000 aus. Im looking at running a hemi 265 for a while or a chrysler v8. If I run the 6 i need to know if I can drop and 8 in later without changing chassis mounts. Can any one help me out, Im also keen to see pick up photos if any one has some

  2. Hello Mule-you sound like a guy who is into what this board is about-You might ought to do an introduction- [IMG]say some more info about your car- about you and what you want to do with it/etc.
Then you could probably get some answers to these and many more questions......good luck.

Hemi six, eh? You must be an Aussie.

The late sixes should shere the same mount configuration. If you were running the sidevalve 265, it'd be a different story as those have "Floating Power" mounts on the front of the engine and on the bellhousing......nothing like a V-8
