Hey so my dads got a buddy who just picked up an early 50's chevy, and he's into the accessorizing thing and my dad asked me if i knew of any cataloges I could get for him that sold all the chrome accessories and cool little stuff to add to your car to make it heavier and shineier and more cluttered, besides mooneyes i couldn't think of anything, theres lots of online places and ebay would be great for him, BUT he doesn't have a computer.. so any of you guys know any places i could call up and get a mail order catalogue, i'm not on any lowrider forums (i probably should be) so i thought i'd ask here.. thanks guys.. appreciate any help.

Someone was just showing me their catalogue yesterday. I'm sure you can get a copy by calling 651-778-9522. They are out of MN

Also try the Filling Station- (800) 841-6622

You should try harder to talk him out of it than search for ways to him to cheapen his ride. Just my opinion.

I ***ume you're talking about sunvisors, chrome "Caddy-fin" tail lites, stainless stone shields (front and rear), fender guards, wrap around "non over rider" bumper guards, headlite visors, "breezies" fo the ventilator windows, and maybe some mudflapsl. You used to able to find all that a Western Auto or in the J.C Whitney catalog. Thankfully most of that **** has disappeared from the scene and the market place.

  21. Yep, he'll thank you for it later. Show him some pics of late 40s-early 50s rides with all that **** shaved off for a clean look, and he'll get it. When it comes to cheap chrome screw-ons and glue-ons, less is definitley more. None is even better.

you gotta be kidding, accessories tastefully done make the car. you're talking about a kustom with everything shaved. he's talking about an original bomb with some character. 2 completly different styles.

  23. I've seen some with so much **** on them it looks like they filled up a shopping cart with carnival trinkets and plastered them all over the car, not tastefull at all. Maybe I need to see a nice one to know how it's done right.
