Help... Dfw area

    My 62 cad isn't shifting like it should.
    Sounds like the rpms are tapped out and it won't shift until you let off the gas and then get back into it. Ive search a few forums and it sound's like it could be the pedal height/tv rod adjustment.

    Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Also anyone in the Dallas area know a good shop or person to take it to?

    I'm no trans guy but it sound like an automatic. Could it be plugged up somewhere on the inside. Dirty perhaps?

    try to adjust the kick down rod.hope that works cause getting those trans rebuilt is expensive.

    I remember my brother's 65 impala with the powerslide ****** would do that. He went thru a lot of modulator valves. He would blow them by holding it in Low tooooo long. He finally replaced it with a 350 ******.
