another brake? wheel cyl?

    iam using a stock mavrick rear end 10'' drums, and 46 ford front 11'' drums...should i use the larger wheel cyl, for the front or the smaller ones...
     
  2. i believe there is only one size of wheel cylinders available for front `46 ford brakes

    If there are two different ones, I would say the big ones go up front.

    thats what i was thinking...does the big bore go towards the front or back...

    This is easy to remember, two bolt mounting holes in the cylinder face to front, brake line port points to rear of car.

    thanks ,another ? if i use rear backing plates for the front, is their anything i need to change. and does it matter witch way they go...

    i guess it dosent matter if you use back plates for the front, or how they are faceing ...the brakes dont know...
