Hey all just bought one of these off evilbay, really wacko design...

anyone know anything about them, like what year/model they came on, what the wolverines image represents..was it the name of the car?

any pics of one polished up/ with SW gauges or similar in them?

thanks ,yeh they are pretty cool.

thinking about putting it in my 32 truck.
the ad says its brass, so it should polish up great. just noticed it says REO in the middle.

Looks similar to the dash that was in my buddies Prospect fire engine.
    It's a cool instrument panel.

I think the wolverines are there more of a decoration due to where the car was produced.. Michigan.

(Technically Lansing, Michigan, right after Ransom E. Olds left Oldsmobile which he of course formed.)

The wolverine is somewhat of a local animal. And the REO was a pretty upscale car, so that sort of metal work was very fancy.

    Neat piece!

The Wolverine was one of the models offered by REO in the twenties. So most likely your dash came out of one of these cars. If you do an Ebay search for "REO wolverine" you will come up with half a dozen ads and photos for sale.

those are now officially the "bitchinest" guage panels of all time.

I realize, of course, many will argue this point with me.

However, I said it first, therefore it is a universal truth.

You may thank me in person with offerings of Beer.

    Ahem.
after consulting the rulebook, you must utter the word "bitchenest" in order for said participle to move into this position.

You did no such thing, Sir!

    Therefore, your point is moot.

I will state for you the Dodge "Fins and titties" dash is now officially the "second most bitchinist" Dash ever made.

    again, with the beer.
