Hey guys just picked up a 64 Cadillac. Post any pics that you might have. I was thinking of keeping it mostly stock but cutting the coils and adding some WWW.

    Post them up. :D

    Caddys make great cruisers...
I bought this one a year ago as a rough but solid stocker. Slapped some paint on it, made some grinder whitewalls, and slammed it down a bit... only had $2500 in the car. Got an offer I couldnt refuse so down the road it went

I think I posted this before. It may not be quite everyone's taste.

Jeez Dan, seems we have pretty similar taste in cars. Aside from owning '64 Riv's, I also owned a '60 Caddy Coupe DeVille ! Although yours is/was muuuuuuch nicer than mine. I was young and inexperienced when I bought mine. After a huge section of 1/4" thick bondo fell off the front fender, I realized what I bought..... a 70's resto piece.......live and learn.....

I cut only one out of the front. The rear was already sagging and had those cheezy turn in spring helpers in the coils, so I just removed them. It sat pretty low just like that but could probably go a notch lower and still be ok for a driver. I would start w/ one coil and drive it for a week, let it settle, get new shocks and see if it needs more by going 1/2 at a time. Pain in the *** taking it apart and re***embling but once you do it a couple of times you can do them in about an hour.

Haha... yeah i noticed that too... Gotta love big ol 60's GM Hooptys!
