Bummer....Give me some basics on the harness, how many circuits, color code, wire markings, and maybe we can figure it out for you.

I would guess it's GM based color coding, but they may have misunderstood you if you asked for "notice", not knowing you meant "instuctions" ?
    Just a thought...

Someone from SoCal, or with connections with the company needs to help this guy out... seems obvious the language barrier is hampering things... heck for that price, maybe jimmy should personally dictate instructions :)

Call them and tell them you need the instructions...for $795, the least they could do is email you a pdf. The counter jockey who answered your call probably had no idea what you were talking about.

    Hotrod66,
Have you asked for the wiring instructions? If not, you need to, if your asking for a "notice" you are going to get the same answer, no, because they don't know what that means. Call them back and ask for the wiring instruction manual for the harness you purchased.

    Good luck.

Did you look to see if the individual wires are labeled? Maybe there isn't any instructions, you just go by the wire.Try to find out who the supplier of the harness is and deal with them directly.

yes the wires are labeled with numbers and letters. It's like a painless one.
But it's not a painless... I don't know the supplier.
I just sent a new e-mail to socal asking the "instructions" for my harness, I will see the aswer...

$795! dude, that's crazy! Someone could have bought the el cheapo, flown over, and helped put it in for that much.

the thing is that my friend has already visited socal when he came in US few years ago and bought a lot of parts for his car (frame, hood, windscreen, dashboard parts, etc...) so they know him but as everybody say here, for the money he has spent, he could have a little more aftermarket service.

Yes it's a language barrier thing. In France when you say look at my nice plump tomato you are talking about your girlfriend. In the States that would mean something juicy that we eat.
Wait ,I guess that is the same HUH?
    Never mind!

We all run into that problem around here.

As far as the instructions, if push comes to shove, SoCal headquarters are just a few miles from me in Pomona. I would imagine they could at least Xerox a copy for me and I could mail them overseas as necessary, but I would think they would offer to email a PDF of them.

Send a PM to JimA. He is a SoCal store owner and might have them in stock. He's an OK guy. ;)

This appears to be a language problem, and should be easily solved. BUT 800 bucks for a universal wiring harness is nuts. I paid 1/2 that for a Ron Francis, particular to the car with all sorts of accessory circuits. Seems like a ton for a wiring harness.

How could this harness possibly be better than a Ron Frasncis kit which runs about $350. I thought Francis was an expensive product (but WELL worth every penny). Francis makes one hell of a nice wiring kit, $800 bucks seems a kind of steep.

I had never wired a car before, and the Ron Francis instructiuons were the best set of instructions Ive ever had for any product, and everything worked right on the first try.

Im not one that normally complains about prive for a high quality item, but for $800, you should get a set of full color hardbound instructions!
