I am looking to get the wheels on my daily powdercoated and thru the search I discovered Akin & Company in Cedar Park. Is this still the go to guy or has someone used someone else?

Thanks for the lead. Have you used them or do you work for them? Good to know ahead of time, thanks Ryan!
Have you tried: Cradin Industries 232 Market Avenue, Boerne, TX 78006 830) 249-9580 http://www.cradin.com They also do Ceramic Coating, prices are very resonable and Ive had headers ceramic coated satin black and still look the same 4 years after they originally did them
Thanks for that as well. I checked out their website, it doesn't mention they do wheels but I can certainly call and find out. I am hoping to find somewhere I can take my car and have the wheels coated and reinstalled...
I've had really good luck with Crosslink Powdercoating in Round Rock. The wheels I took to them turned out perfect- but they may be a little pricey compared to some of the other shops in Austin. I think it was about $75 per wheel- but I can't remember.
I work at a car dealership and if you want I can dismount your wheels and tires. Your car might be on jack stands in your driveway for a while but its an option if they cant take 'em apart for you.
we used commercial services on a set of valve covers for our racecar...poor quality and high prices...It flaked off and bubbled up in several spots within a month...
Its too bad your not in Houston, "Your Powdercoating Connection" does outstanding work for a very reasonble price. You might want to PM him on the HAMB at Turboroadster and ask him if he has any referals in your area
Im Not In Texas, But The Local Goodyear Dealer In Our City Also Handles Semi-truck Tires And Wheels. They Have A Service In Their Shop Where They Sandblast And Powdercoat Large Truck Wheels All The Time. I Work At A Car Dealer, And We Had A Set Of Alloy Wheels We Warranteed For Corrosion (south Dakota Salt) And I Got Them Free. I Took Them To This Shop At Noon Hour One Day, And They Called Me At 2:30 That They Were Done. He Must've Been Tired Of Working On Large Truck Wheels, And These Were 16x6 Wheels For A Honda (can I Say That On The "hamb'?) And These Wheels Were A Nice Break From Them, But We Have Done Many Sets Since Then Total Bill Was A Whopping $49.00 $12.00 Each Plus Tax. They Only Offer Basic Colors (black, Silver, Gray, And Many Different Whites) As Most Large Trucks Dont Go With The Lime Green Motif... Check With Big Truck Tire Dealers In Your Area, Maybe They Have Something Like This, And Just As Cheap. A Year Later, They Still Look Great... And I Use Acid On Them To Clean The Salt And Brake Dust Off Them All The Time...
THOUGHT I SHOULD GO OUT INTO THE ZERO DEGREE FAHRENHEIT GARAGE AND TAKE SOME PHOTOS OF THE WHEELS I MENTIONED, SORRY THE WHEELS AREN'T CLEAN. THEY ARE A DOVE GRAY COLOR. I HAVE A COUPLE MORE SETS OF FREE WHEELS TO HAVE THIS DONE TO, GOTTA GET SOME FREE TIRES TO GO WITH THEM. THESE CAME OFF A MUSTANG USED CAR... GOTTA TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE POSITION AT THE DEALERSHIP WHEN YOU CAN...
