Ford, Chevy, Dodge, what? My '58 Chevy has a '73 Camaro sitting under it. There's a lot of donors available out there without buying a top dollar unit, if you have the know-how.

without a doubt ElPolacko's stuff from Industrial Ch***is is my first choice with his Dakota front suspensions...

but if you are going to clip it LuxBlue did a great tech article here...

Another option if your on a budget would be corvette, you can pick up complete donnor cars (C-4) sometimes for 1000-1500 and you get a complete IFS & IRS, and you can always clean up the parts to look new, just a thought. I've got a complete IFS & IRS sitting under a 30' Hudson Sedan. Now as mentioned above, there are ton of cars running IFS and IRS, I just like using chevy parts on a chevy if I can help it. I know you can't hardly beat the looks of a new Heidts or the like but most donnors are going to get crushed anyways... Good Luck

The TCI set up will run you a little over 2000.00 but then you still need to buy the u-joints, shaft, column saver, up grade your brakes. It gets pricey. But after your done it looks good and clean. It will definately be cheaper to use a camaro clip. Done one of those aswell. I used a 78 camaro

a lot depends on your fab skills. nothing will drive better or be as cheap as a front steer camaro/trans am clip but they take some skill and experence to get a clean install. if you go with a aftermarket unit deal with some you can get tech help from if needed. if camaro use 70-81 camaro or trans am. i perfer trans am for the big sway bar and quick ratio stg gear.

for what do you want the ifs, do you want it for the power steering and discs or do you want it for the indipendent front. CPP has a power steering kit for the origional i beam and they have the disc conversion to. Check them out but it all depends on what you want to do. Good luck with your project.
