Here are a few pics of my latest find..... a 1937 Chevy 2 Dr Sedan. Just awoken from a 25 year slumber. Owned by the same guy for the last 35 years, and he bought it from the original owner. I am a ford man, so Not too sure what to do with this one.... But man is it SOLID. Still has the fisher body emblem on the side. 68,000 original miles, Flathead 6, 3 spd on the floor, and it RUNS! Still has the original Creosote (I think that is what it is called) coating on the bottom of the car. Springs wrapped as from the factory. Origial Paint. Doors close like new. Rock-solid Floorboards and running boards. May just be average for out west, but a supreme find here in Michigan!! Tell me what you think..... I think it's a neat car, probably quite rare having a flathead 6 since all of them had OHV engines. like he said, drive the summ*****!
"Slam it,twenties,4 cyl with turbo, ground effects and a killer stereo...." NOT! Like they said,"Wash n drive!!!"

How sweet it is!! Thats one humpback I wouldn't chase out to sea. Love those cars, really cool to cruise in comfort. Enjoy your great discovery!!-Sololobo
damn my first rod was a 38 sedan....love them old chevy sedans! Tons of room for the family...I had to make the trunk swing sideways on mine...after an unfortunate broken spring perch on the side of the road on the way to Reno one year...I bent into the trunk to get my jack and damned if I didn't give myself a black eye on the lid...next week I changed it! Wish I had another!
Very nice find. I'm sure i saw that on the Detroit area Craigslist. Seems like there was several nice cars on there lately.
I dunno about making it look like it drove straight out of 1990... I like it the way it is too. It looks like it even has a radio; pretty desirable unit. Nice find.
Preserve what is there, fix what needs fixin' (brake hoses, fuel lines, carb rebuild/gas tank clean, etc) and DRIVE IT !!! I don't personally believe you can improve much upon what's already there. If it was a mess, yeah, change it up some, but that car is a "Survivor" in the truest sense of the word... JMHO
Since it is already in Michigan, wash it and drive it to Billetproof next Saturday! Throw some caps on it and drop it down in the ***.
Some one show him a picture of Stacey's '37 sedan "Hoodlum" from Denver. Thats how you should build yours.
LOL yeah I think you are right about the flathead comment by me.... I am in a wheelchair and couldnt see that high to tell what it was! I found it, my cousin pony'd up the cash to buy it.... You may have seen it on craigslist, I dunno.... Everythings for sale ya know.... We'd part with it for $7,000...... Ya know, being ford guys and all..... James T-4 Paraplegic But still having fun. You haven't been TREED' until you've raced a guy with hand controls!!!
"the way they should look" i think i hear ZZ top playing in the background woohhh.... no more once piece bikini's with the leg opening halfway up there sides haha
