    Grab a copy of one of the books on the old Salt Flats or Dry Lakes era cars & you'll be drooling in no time

    Last summer, there was an old farm auction out my parents way. The poster had a picture of an original '29, running 4 banger, rag top, full fenders and all.

    Both my father and I were to busy to make it, but thought 'hey, no big deal. Everything around here goes for to much anyways'

    This was the second worst time I have ever kicked my own ass, as NO ONE showed up to the action, and the roadster was DRIVEN onto a trailer for $2100

    I thought they looked alittle more like arty wheels then wide fives "on the 44c car but your prob right Im still learning the older rims.

    wide 5's is right 36-39 wheels with "i think" 39 hubcaps?
    they were on a restored 36 cabriolet
