i want to flip all the helpers underneath the pack. the only thing is the are riveted through but not all the way. i was wondering if cut the rivets off or is there a meathod i am unaware of to save them or reuse them? these are on a 32 chevy sedan.

You are correct they are not all the way through. I ground the heads off mine, pulled the pack apart, and ground the left over studs down.

I then re***embled, and used spring clamps to hold the leaves in position under the rest of the leaf pack.

Hopefully that is clearer than mud.
