looking for lug nuts

    hey everyone hope your keeping it on the road,well I was wondering if some one knows were I can get some lug nuts for my asto's olny need 10 and dont fell like paying 40 bucks on ebay for 20,size is 1/2-20 thanks everyone,bigbadwolf

    Try a local tire store.
     
  3. Pick em up out of the dirt at the junkyard.

    Leave the dried mud on them.
    Most junkyard operators won't charge too much for them.

    Old tire shops are a fairly good place to check as well.
    A lot of them bought mag lugnuts in bulk and last time I bought some they were a buck apiece.

    Hit the car oriented swap meets.
    There's usually a vendor there who sells em singly for dirt-cheap.

    Or . . . drop by my garage and I'll give you some.
    You need to know the length as well as diameter and thread pitch.
