Finally i am working on the caddy again. I got the motor pulled out Saturday and it is sold as of today. The guy who is buying it is real cool and is really happy that i held it for him. But Okay here are just a few pictures of how it is after siting for 3 months. My goals for this summer are to get it all one color, trim black, and running. Sounds like alot to me, dont have a job anymore, just doing lawns again. I am going to just buy a 350 from autozone instead of get the one that I have rebuilt, because it is cheaper for what i want to get it from autozone. This coming weekend I am going to clean up the frame from the firewall up. Let me know what you guys think. Your 16 year old Car Junky 54 Caddy. :D

Let's here all of it, what ever you want to talk about.
your a 16 year old man building a caddy, not a 16 year old boy bolting parts on a Honda. I think this is great, just don't tell me your painting the bumpers and putting wing on the trunk lid.

Ahaha.. Im dat abnormal kid.. Alrite.. Im going to put a 350/700R-4 combo in it, just cheaper then the cadillac setup. Basically going for that stock mild custom look. The trim black is just to make it look decent for now, Eventually Daytona Blue Pural with a white top with ghost blue flake. My grandma does interior, so i am going to do white vinyal with two inch pleats on the seats and door panels, the headliner will also be white but without the pleats. I am going to build my own glove box to hind a cd player in there, and hide a preamp in the ashtry. Subs will be hidin in the trunk also. No tint gota keep it cl***ic. Stock 15's with cadillac sumbreors for show and trim rings with a bullet center for everyday drives. Lowered in the rear 4 inches, 1 coil cut in the front. Air shocks in the rear. Quite exhaust like a caddy should be. Repolish all the stainless. Clean the bumpers as good as i can untill i can afford to get them rechromed. And i think that is all of it. If i missed some let me know. But this project is not considered a project its just the way of life for me.

My grandpa was going to send the thing to a junk yard because he was tired of it being in his back yard. It was my uncles before he died. And yes My Plan sounds AWSOME to me. Can see me in it already. My grandma is one of the only interior shops around that has been here since the 70's... The older she gets, she just keeps geting better...

Good to see another young guy on here. I remember your first posts about getting it, and stripping it down. Looking good, but these things do cost money, can lawns cover the costs of that?

HotRodRick49... I don't know if you think I am a **** up in life or what. I don't do no stupid **** to get my money. I am what I like to call a hard working young buck. I mow many lawns by myself and with my uncles buissness. Last summer I made 250 for two days of work every weekend. Plan to do the same this year if not more. I also had a seasonal job at best buy electronics this winter and saved most of all that cash. I also do pools and just anything that I am capable of doing, fences, decks, paint, what ever I can. I even wash a few cars for money and wrench on buddies cars for money.... So If you think that I am geting my money from somewhere else (doing something bad) I AM NOT.... And I know things do cost money what doesnt, theres a little thing called respect, and I do that would like to recieve the same.... Theres a piece of my mind....

Nice man! I love those mid 50's caddies. I think your car will be the coolest in the lot at your school! I'd keep that ol' motor for later use, but then again I'll bet you can get some nice extra cash for it right here if you wanna sell it, lot of the fellas on this forum prefer a motor like that for their projects.

60' Coupe... Thanks Man I think I do to, I dont know what the other fella thinks I am doing

3X2rocket... It will be the BEST in the Lot.. When I do take it, there is to many haters and will be scared they will break into it or break something on purpose over jealousy. And for the motor and ****** combo I got 500 for it, It had a little water in the block, and sat for 12 years.. So I think I made out good. The guy who bought it knows all the conditions of the motor, he is on this site, He is going to stick it in a RPU
