Lets see some more high boy pics please!!! Like to see how I'm fairing out with the pros. Getting close to paint.
Two from Indiana and one from Vermont at the LA Roadster Show and one I have been building for a while. Far from a pro though.
There should be about a zillion highboy pic threads if you do a search, but what the heck, one more won't hurt.
Hey Hey,did that car end up being red with whide whites a blue interior, plus a 40 dash?,If it is I remember that car very well.
Yep. I have had 40 dashes in my last three Deuces. As far as I know, Mike still has the car and is living in NH.
I'll never forget the night you came to Nicks in Natic with it years ago,it was the first 32 roadster I saw with a 40 dash, and that was why I put one in my 32.
Just think how much better the above car would look without the "silly" American Grafitti chopped off grille. With a hood a 2" shorter grille makes the front flow better than stock height but on a hoodless car the full height grille looks fine. IMO and that of a lot of others with an "eye" for this kind of thing. Frank
Frank. That is the difference between hot rodding cars and restoring them. You can build it the way you want.. I almost painted it yellow, but changed my mind at the last minute. For the record, the car looked great when it was full fendered. I also ran it fender-less with full length grille and hood. Nice to be able to mix it up, and not conform to what everybody(or you) think is better/ correct. Cheers! Nice looking Deuce sedan btw. Grafitti look.. Full fendered....
