There was one being built (never saw it completed) by Art Braanum(?) for the salt, looked really cool, but still an oddity. If that matters.

Long time ago on here there was a fenderless Dodge (I think) made into a sort of sedan delivery. It was from NYC I think, maybe one of the Rumblers. I didn't think it looked all that bad.
I was getting ready to post a "gross" comment here --- but after checkin out some of the pics............ I uhm ahhhh ...... It hurts ..... uh... I think I'm broadening my mind!!!
kinda looks like a volksrod... I like that '35 dodge and the '36 chevy too. I personally think that '40s cars look real nice with fenders and no hood, but at the same time it is always nice to see something different imho
I think the biggest reason why so many are against it is because they haven't seen that many that they think look good. For all these years fenderless was pre35. Ratrod0's Car is really bitchin. I think if it had the same stance as his it would be exceptionally nice. It's your car and you need to decide. Thank, BOBBY FORD
I've seen a '40 Ford coupe called the Jade Grenade race at the Hot Reunion at Bowling Green. No fenders, channeled, with a duece grill shell that looks pretty cool to me.
The key, I think, to any fenderless car is a set of perimeter frame rails - if the rails follow the shape of the body the car will look like it's supposed to be fenderless - that's part of the reason I'm not a big fan of lowboys or channeled and fenderless rides. Any fat fender style car on a stock style frame looks like it's missing something. In addition, the wheelbase is critical in this type of build - stock front axle location is way too far rearward to look good once you axe the fenders - push a dropped axle out front until it looks "right", center the rear tires in the stock openings and bend up some contoured rails and it will work. A factory body reveal or bead that follows the rear fender line and carries through as a lower body line would help as well . . . Oh yeah, don't substitute a Model A or 32 shell up front just because - that'll kill it too - try to incorporate the stock grille assembly or one modified to look like a stocker and flow with the hood and body - I say go for it but always look at the big picture and how each part will work with the others. Just my opinion. Steve
I've only have seen one that I liked..and as someone else said, it was cut in so many ways it was scary...and well, it was a model car too..haha
HOLY SHIT!!!!!....HELL NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!.....ANYTHING post 35 looks ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE without fenders....What the hell is wrong with fenders???????.....Exactly RATRODZZZZZ.
Are you talking about this one? I'm gonna guess being fenderless is to reduce drag. If this were a street car, it would absolutely have to have fenders, IMO. Malcolm
You would have to be doing better than 174mph to catch these SOBs to tell them you don't like it. SOBs are SOUTH OMAHA BOYS. South Omaha Turds think of ourselves as chips off the old block.
