Hi all !! I know this is not a tech post ,but I just got back from Paso......great show... made it there and back to San Jo, but while in Paso my wife and I bought a house sight unseen in Susanville, while I was in the park and she still at the hotel...between faxes and cell phones. So we went to Susanville to ok the house and do the paperwork on Sunday, signed off on Tuesday... then went home to San Jo... until pop the engine let go in the Riv.... 30 miles from Reno and 300+ miles from home, so $1400 (ouch) later on a flatbed we were home...... heres some photos including the house !
Too bad about the motor. Looks like the house is in a great setting, nice. You can never go wrong buying property. Congrats to you both.
House looks sweet. Too bad I can't say the same for your poor Riv. Looks like you done blowed it up good.
Sam, Congrats on the house. Thought you said the Rivi was the "Driver"... Gonna keep the shop in SJ or what?
Hey all thanks fer the support !! yea me and the wife are TOTALLY stoked on the house !!! The Riv,. engine was just done back in November and it has a complete 1 year warranty (hope they cover the towing bill too !!) Yea Sean no more shop floor poop !! We paid $165 Gs 1/3 of an acre......1400 sq. feet two story 4 Bdrm, hottub, full deck and such !! I am moving the shop up there, will still do the same thing, just concentrate more on restoring wheels and selling 'em on eBay -SAM
Is that by Eagle lake...? I love it up there! When I lived in San Jose I would weekend up at that lake. That would be one hell of a commute to San Jose each day...! Congratulations on the move and the higher quality of life...! Mark

Best thing you could do is get out of SJ hahah Susanville is cool... I grew up in Chester... about 45min away. Good area... build a *****en shop now~ bp

dat one of the reasons we iz movin......... there is more to life than fixin 22"+ wheels...... NEVER a small block in THIS Riv...... maybe the next one... -SAM
