Awesome... Rebel John, two black clouds from his tail pipes and hed shove Whisperin Sorrows down into 3rd and away he'd go. But the Fonz definitely takes it for curb appeal!
I dont know! The Fonz said taht he had a killer 400 Lincoln that hed drop in when he needed it!no shit!...
Ya but remember when Rebel raced King? Rebel said if he hadn't won they woulda pulled the HEMI from the FED and put it in his shoe. Then he'd take him.
I'd take the Rebel any day. The Fonz was about cruisin and profilin. Both have reckless abandon, but Rebel John would win because somehow he'd turn the heat on and that'd give him like 30 extra horsepower. The Rebel was rolling a 460 Lincoln in "whispering sorrows" when he raced King, who had a 425 (2bbl) Olds in a '53 88. I was there, the Rebel had him by like 13 cars, it was a complete ass kicking. The Rebel also has the edge because he's probably in a hurry to: A) get to quik-check for the UltraMega 64 oz Big Gulp diet soda or B) get home for the medicine to stop his balls from itching after he got crabs from a rest stop toilet seat Anthony, do you have any pictures of the Rebel? we could fill a thread with crazy stories of him too
yea 400 modified.. it was junk. both the 400m and 351m are shit motors.. nothing like a cleveland or windsor..
One time Rebel John and I were in "Whispering Sorrows' and we were behind the rest of the Kustom Knights on the way to Gettysburg. He purposely got off an exit lettin the rest of the crew go ahead to show me how fast he could shift. We were in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania and here we were on some dusty farm road beating the shit out of this tired flatty powered shoebox!
I will never forget his white beard stained yellow in a 2in radius from his mouth from all the cigarettes he smoked. Or the 1000 Big Gulp cups in his back seat of al his cars.
LMAO! I'd be here for days tryin to spell out the way he spoke. I think it would be a tie. Coolest daily driven sleds ever!
you guys have me laughing i could write a book about rebel john and fonz from back in the old days in irvington when i work in the ember ,s bar rebel drove a truck for a&p and fonz would stop by to see the guys he knew even back then in the 60,s both had cool daily sleds
Hey Teddy,Do ya remember joes 56 red Ford Vic? Or the red unchopped 4 door pictured above which incidentally was completely redone into one of the most insane Jersey Mercs ever by Bobby (Chopmerc) Politz. How many poeple know that the Polits pink quad lit Merc was a Fonzie Merc at one time! And the funny thing is that the Vic that Politz has now was owned by John and later chopped by Fonz!
Da stawta fell ride owt da cawah!!!!! Uh twuck dwivuh fowow'ed me 25 miyews!!!!!!!!!!handed it right to me!
Yeah!I found the car sitting in Little Ferry at Tonys Gulf untouched from the 70s and then Kevin Danny got it sold it to Bobby.
No shit, I knew about the Vic being Rebel's and Fonz chopping it but I didn't know about the merc too.
few people know that john and joe both had thier hands on bob ,s vic i hear about that ford that joe had but i don,t rember it i do remember the red 55 ford 2 dr that he made skits out of locker doors and a shoe box ford and way in the 60,s he had a 51 0r 52 chevy
