Sorry to hear this news.I've lost my dad too. Wasn't a hot rodder but he was one hell of a fisherman. I've got his mounted bass to prove it! Hang in there.

Bless those who mourn, eternal God,
with the comfort of your love
that they may face each new day with hope
and the certainty that nothing can destroy
the good that has been given. May their memories become joyful,
    their days enriched with friendship,
and their lives encircled by your love.
    Amen.

  4. Condolences from Corpus Christi. I feel your pain my brother. I lost my dad on july4, 2004. He taught me everything I know and then some. To this day that I reach in the tool box to get a tool his hand is there with mine. God Bless you and your family.

sorry for your loss, prayers sent

  6. I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for your thoughts an prayers. This is a very sad time for our family but with the love and support from friends and family including evryone here on the HAMB, we will get through this.

My Dad was the quintessential hot rodder and inspired my brothers and I as well as his Grandsons to become hot rodders too. Dads legacy will live on through us and we will always remember our hot rod hero.

Once again thank each of you for honoring my Dad here. Words cannot express how much it means to me and my family.

    Thank you,
    Smitty

  11. Once again thanks guys. I wanted to share a few photos of my Dad's last ride. My brothers and I spent 28 hours straight paintin' it up for him and it was worth every minute.
