Population 436, the movie

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Groucho, Feb 18, 2008.

  1. Weird story about a town the remains at 436 for it's population. Towards the end there's an escape scene where it takes place through a very cool field of many old cars that appaears very realistic (gr*** growing around the cars...). Anyway, some real usable cars there for sure if it exists somewhere

I watched it this weekend too. Without giving away the plot. I was drooling over that field. I thought it was cool that the cars were lined up in chronological order. There were some real gems sitting in that field.

For what seemed like a low budget movie. The attention to detail and period correct props was pretty damn good. I had never heard of this movie, just watched it on "on-demand" because it was too cold to work in the garage.

  3. Yeah, the cars looked more like some outdoor collection than a junkyard by the condition of them

I believe the place is called "Vavavoom". It has been discussed on here before. Do a search on here for vavavoom.
