friday is my wife's birthday and it's looking good for bringing both of our families to the thaw Sat. My mother-out-law said it's been WAY too long since she's seen a '55 chevy drag. since mine is just a shell you guys are gonna hafta give her a thrill! i'm gonna try to head out early in my '63. It don't race.

I went by this evening and helped my friends (no names mentioned) work on a " top secret" car for this Saturday that they are building just to try and whoop my Falcon.They were trying to keep it hidden from me ,but i looked around at the parts ****tered around and put two and two together.Atleast by helping them thrash on it i wont feel so guilty when i outrun it with my daily driver,man im a good sport .If i cant out motor it ,i am pretty sure i can out shift the drivers of it one by one.I cant wait to spank that *** .All i can say is dont miss a gear guys ,cuz thats all im gunna need...
Will I be able to register at the track? I am supposed to taking my car apart for paint, but after breaking at Mokan I have an itch that needs to be scratched.

Even with that gutted all out, drag only, heap of a 55 having a 350 to my 302 your gunna get reamed , and Brodix heads ,Predator carb ,and 4.30 gears dont mean sqaut if you cant shift gears mommas boy.You should have put a turbo 350 in it, with one of those wussy proof ratchet shifters and a shift light (next time leave the 4spd's for the men ).I have been waiting for this for along time ,ever since you had that other 55 a few years back .Even if my poor little street car cant out motor it (which i doubt) ,one of you guys will miss a gear when your up against me and its gunna be all she wrote...

Lee lives in Denton and my sister lives in Mckinney. If the party at Lee's house is too much I can always go to my sisters.
