I was going to look at a 64 VW bus with a friend. On the way there he told me there a sweet coupe on the same dirt road. We stopped to look at it and the owner was there, just a super guy that showed us the car and some other stuff. It's a 32 Plymouth coupe (early '32 I think). Nice metal work was done to fill in the roof, and some other nice body work is done to it. Had the rear opera window and rumble seat. The guy has all the hard stuff to find, but the car is in a million pieces. He priced it for 5k, no drivetrain. With out pics does that sound like a good deal? Keep in mind this will get built not flipped. Body, frame, suspension, all fenders, grille, radiator, and more. All great shape w/ a ***le. Good deal or not?

That '32 Plym sounds like it should be bought. 5G is not bad. When they make it into the barn is when the price goes through the roof

  7. If it's as you described, it sounds like a screaming deal. I can't wait for pics, hint hint. Go talk to the old guy again and snap some pictures, look over it all again without your buddy getting in the way. I always do better one on one anyway. Hell, you know you want it.

I think that that is a pretty good price as long as almost everything is there, how much is a steel 32 ford worth in that kind of shape???
and Please,Please,Please if you get it put a mopar in it  :D

the early 32 plymouth would be a PA model and it would "not" have suicide doors, it would have a ovel back window and a visor
a 32 PB will have suicide doors and no visor.

a 32 PA would looks something like this one

    Yes

He's not in the way, hell he showed it to me in the first place!

Oval back window and no suicide doors. It was a hot rod back in the day. The owner said it prolly had 3-4 different motor/ ******s in it before he got it.

You saw it, but if it is "all there", that is a heck of a deal.

my buddy from high school has a PA. he drove the hell out of that car until a rod went through the original block, then he put a pinto motor in it. I'd say it hasn't been out of his garage in at least 10 years.. maybe closer to 20. it's a nice car. completely redone.

I spent a lot of time in the rumble seat. I remember he had 2 radiator ornaments... one nice one and another with the wings broken off.he'd put the broken one on if he left the car anyehwere

    5 G's??? buy it.
