I have a 4 speed muncie ****** that I think came out of a corvette. Anyone know how I can find out the year or other info about it ? It has numbers on it different places. I have someone that wants to buy it but I cant put a valuue on it I guess unless I find out what it was in. Thanks:confused:

Your Muncie Xmsn will have numbers on the case and numbers on the tailshaft. Now these numbers will be two different numbers but they still have to be a matching set of numbers. Meaning this number on the case goes with this number on the tailshaft.
I have a xmsn that works great but the numbers don't go with each other so it is a Frankenstien ******. But that's ok if it is going in your '55 Chevy G***er,
like mine did. But for a Corvette matching numbers wingnut (like most Corvette guys) they need to be a set.
