I got the oppurtunity to visit my buddy Weaver (aka peckerhead28)and I got the chance to check out his almost complete El Moco Coupe. Here's some pics I am gonna post them for him...this by far is one of (if not) my favorite hot rods. Knowing what this thing started as to what it is now is amazing. It truly is a work of art and Mike should be extremely proud of the work he's done on this thing...I think there is a million hours in it...

no LED's---it was just something he stuck up in there for a picture...actually when we pulled this car out of the woods, there was one of them in the gas tank....

when my dad drug it out of the woods, that car was rough...It sat in my backyard for a while then we decided we couldnt do it, so we called mike to see if he wanted it...he'll tell you 'when the wind blew through the car, it made noise' it was thin thin metal, the entire roof of the car was pretty much hand fabricated by mike....

Nice little touches! Do you know if its going to get painted? If so, what color? It looks pretty clean as is though.

Mike...looks great! Now that you are this close to being finished you can come work on my wife's 55 Buick. It will be big enough for all of us to ride in, and prob. carry your coupe in the trunk so we will have a cool hot rod to ride in when we get where we are going....

  29. What are those things on the end of your exhaust? Are they some kind of baffles? Love the look of your Coupe. I want to start building one next summer. Probably a 31.
