Yeah, what does Jay owe us for so much personal time? Or is it just part of the Hot Rodders Code to be selfless. Heck, he did make us coffee. Mike
I was dead to the world the next day... the kids were asking me "Mr. Strube... why do we have to have the door open... it's COLD!" I said "because... I don't want to fall asleep!" And I only stayed 'till 12:00... yorgatron was there until 3:00am!! Sam.
It was absolutely amazing... These guys came over on a Thursday night at 9 pm, stayed till the crack of dawn, when the motor when back in. Mike and I hit it the next day and we had it on the road by Friday at 4pm. Motor, transmission, exhaust, intake, radiator- Everything...It was all in pieces. I'm still blown away we got it running and dialed in less than 12 hours! Real friends, really cool people. No agenda- Just helping a deperate car guy get to Paso. I can't put a price on it, but I owe all of these guys BIG TIME. Thanks homees. jay
cool. Saw the roadster in Paso. No sign of the mayhem that had taken place just hours before. Good ****. -r
Yup. New head gaskets installed etc. everything works great. I'm kinda surprised my cheapy torque wrench did the job. Looking forward to the OLDS THRASH 2004... Unless Kanter takes all year to get you your front end parts, then it'll be OLDS THRASH 2005. -r
