~ Installed both front and rear springs on my '30 Hi-Boy. I used alittle sweat,C clamps and floorjacks.
My question is, On my new '38 Coupe which has the stock rear spring can I install the reverse eye spring myself, using the same lame method? Or does the size of this Car make it tougher?

    Bigger C clamps!

Can't say for sure but they sure work good on an A spring

You could also diss***emble the spring, put the main leaf easily by hand and then re-***emble the rest of the spring on the car.

with the reverse eye spring the easiest way is to diss***emble the spring like 40tudor said. the reversed main leaf doesn't allow you to put the portapower on it so easily.
