Searching for a book from my youth. The story line as I recall centered around some guys refurbishing a Blower Bently to compete with the more modern cars at LeMans. It's been a long time so my facts may be off.

    Anyone else remember this book?

    Any info would be appreciated.

Do you believe in ESP? Can you read my mind?

This was in the post scroll era, wise***.

  4. Was this a fiction type thing or a non-fiction true deal? Sounds cool.

  5. Don't know about that one, but Osprey Automotive has/had one called

"Bentley Factory Cars 1919-1931", by Michael Hay

That is very thorough and has great pics/diagrams. Think I paid $25 for it, even though it listed at 40 British Pounds.

I am sure it was fiction. I want to add it to my collection I am building for my grandson.

Me too. And I'm about five years ahead of you in finding an old copy of it. I tried ABE and as I recall found it on Amazon.
