Searching for a book from my youth. The story line as I recall centered around some guys refurbishing a Blower Bently to compete with the more modern cars at LeMans. It's been a long time so my facts may be off. Anyone else remember this book? Any info would be appreciated. GV
Don't know about that one, but Osprey Automotive has/had one called "Bentley Factory Cars 1919-1931", by Michael Hay That is very thorough and has great pics/diagrams. Think I paid $25 for it, even though it listed at 40 British Pounds.
is it called "Speed Six!" by Bruce Carter, copyright 1956 by Harper & Row,Library of Congress Catalog Card number 56-8153? is it 185 pages long, the main characters are Johnny Wild, Danny Black, and Mervyn Williams, and the name of the car is Diane ?
