  8. I go to 40 Ford Day and the 40 Ford Picnic every year. It's a local show and they have the best raffle anywhere! Mostly stock cars, but cool old guys. Dan just happened to ask for something I have a file on. The other two BIG files is Mercs and Hotrods. There was about 200 more 40 and 39 Fords at that show, but mostly Streetrods.

  9. If you look at the next pic,I stated that! Didn't realize it til I saw the back. I'll pack my things and get out,sob sob...

The pics below are of a very nice 40 coupe owned by Dick Lewis of Lititz, PA. Dropped axle, quick change rear, Tattersfield high rise intake and air cleaner, dual plug heads, old aluminum camper wheels and a bunch of other awesome old parts.

Dan - here's my '39 . . . homebuilt, already on the road. Will paint and upholster someday. Gotta reduce the size of "completed" coupe, they will not upload.

I can't find the copy of Hot Rod or a picture of it, but my absolute favorite was a flat grey deluxe coupe that was owned by the same guy for about 40 years. It had a hopped up flattie and was absolutely tits. All I remember was the guy worked for Asprin and lived in Missouri. I wanna say his name was Stan Getz, but I know I'm wrong.
