We're kicking off the swap meet season with a two-day show, March 1-2 at Lanier National Speedway in Braselton.

Swap meet is on both days, with an unfinished car show on Saturday, and a People’s Choice Awards show on Sunday.

Drag your project car up to be displayed, and you get in free. I’ll have a single award for my favorite under-construction project.

Vendor spaces: $20 per day, $10 each additional space.
Car for sale: $15 per day
Car show entry: Free Saturday, $15 Sunday.
Spectator entry: $3 each day, kids under 12 free.

We’re also doing a $100 cash award for the car club with the most participants, in the show and/or set up as a vendor. (5 participants, minimum).

Vendor set-up at 7am both days, gates open to the public at 8:30. Awards at 3pm. Show ends when everyone goes home.
There is overnight camping (no hook-ups), and we'll have a security gaurd.

I-85 to Exit 129, Hwy 53 Braselton, GA
    turn WEST on Hwy 53
4.5 miles on the right hand side, across the street from Road Atlanta

From what I have been led to believe,,,it's kinda like a snipe hunt,,except you are blindfolded and carry a big wool sock,,,you are alone in the middle of the night in Gumlog Georgia and naked,,,oh,,and did I mention ,,,You are the Snipe.

I had made all my plans to attend the first swap meet this year but,, I gotta stay close to home the next couple of weeks,,My daughter changed all that about 8 1/2 months ago,,,,,gonna have a new granddaughter real soon. HRP

This was posted a while back by Big A, I'll never forget it.

"The last guy that asked to join got this response....

Come on out and hang around, bring beer, get dirty, get drunk, piss in the yard a few hundred times, come on a few road trips, get to know the true meaning of painful humiliation, save Christmas, steal a bum sign, rub one out in the South Austin Speed Shop, buy tons of beer for the club, buy more beer for the club, wake up face down in duck poop once or twice, dance with a downie in Nashville, learn to cook brats, remember the names of everyone's wives, children and dogs (not necessarily in that order), cheer at a Sock ****er wedding, buy more beer, fetch a gas can, get drunk with at least two Sock ****er's dads, successfully p*** a "find the Green Mountain Gringo salsa" blind taste-test and not ***** when one of the bowls has used flathead motor oil in it, cheer at a Sock ****er divorce, cut Dave's hair in a parking lot, camp at Brad's ****ing sub-arctic swap meet, supply the moonshine, hug Hog Mountain Terry's wife, buy more beer, find Dave's 9/16" socket, drive the '46 home drunk, put Tyler up for a night, defend Josh's right to Sharpie, tell us about at least 2 junk yards we've never been to, and light your **** on fire in Austin.

    Then we'll talk.

Until then, You're welcome to come on out and hang around (as long as you brings beer). You might be a sock ****er, but you ain't no Sock ****er.

Clubs are like family. Highly dysfunctional in our case. :D"

Are you sure you really wanted to know?

So when is Mr. Cool Breeze gonna drift over to the HAMB and Grits brunch? I'm starting to think you're scared to meet the rest of the North GA members. :D

Well, unfortunately, my car is about two or three weeks from seeing the road or I would "volunteer" my self as a daily SFCC member for this week end...

    Checklist,

"Look like me and Andrew" I don't know... maybe...

"drive old beat up ****" ummm yes...

    ""drink beer" hell yes...

I hope ya'll have great time, I hope to make a few of the swap meets this year, maybe April, maybe May...
