Mopar question- where to get ball+trunnion boot?

Where can I get a driveshaft ball + trunnion boot for a 58 Dodge royal? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Al

I used a front wheel drive boot for my '63 Dodge and it worked fine. I'm sorry I can't remember what the boot was from but, I remember that it really did the job just fine.

However, let me warn you that it was a ***** of a job to get the boot over the trunnion as you need to get everything really greased up so as to slip the boot over everything. I really didn't think it would work but, it did! I just kept cussing and pulling! The FWD boot was really inexpensive as compared to the kits that either Birnbaum or Roberts sells. In fact it was free as my ****** guy had several on the shelf which he had just been hanging onto. Hope this tip might save you a buck or two.

 

I have heard the people on the slant site talk about using the fwd boot from an 83 nissan sentra.
