Hi guys, ken stasiak here. some of you already know me. Another pgh/L-ville/sears/eat n park/street racer "back in the day" guy. Lots of great (and some not so great) memories there. I'm new to this site and thanks to richie for putting me onto it.
Ken Did you have a black metalflake cutom corvette back in th mid 70's? Had ribbon/scroll work on the side with Cragars?
hey streetfreak, no I had a red/white cove 61 vette in early 70s and then about 73 I got a 69 nova SS red/black 396/375 car. Now my buddy had a 61 vette that was real dark blue almost looked black with white cove with the same blue lace paint job in the cove. could that be the car you are thinking of? Where were you from at that time? Did you hang around this area?
Hey Jeff, How you doing? I knew it was you when richie called me and said you mentioned me in an earlier post about local cars that you remembered from the 70s (which I can't find that post now,Where did it go).
redrico1, I sent a e-mail to the your addy that is in the HAMB site. I put '31 Chevy in the subject line so you'll know it's me. Dan
I bought them from this guy for $20 here is his e-mail. Hendrixkat@aol.com[/quote] I was at an old school-house/antique store in November on Route 19 near Grove City. They had Pa. inspection stickers from the 40's and 50's for $12 each. There were four or five of them left.

Anyone remember a bunch of guys that had a garage up on the hill in Lawrenceville that made floor shifts ? You brought them your column shifter and they welded it up using all-thread. I had them make me one for my '52 Ford and I think it cost $12.00 for them to do it. The only problem was, you had to hack the hell out of your floor to get it to fit since it mounted so high. But that was ok with me, now I had a floor shift cheaper than Almquists.
Reb, the only DiPasquale I know is Chuck, he was from Collins Ave too. He has 34 Ford peach colored roadster and a 34 3 window coupe pink/purple color. He lives in Plum Boro too.
yea yea yea, chuckie, man were the hell did i get geno, don't you hang with him,if so, i met you at the church cruise
