Anyone out there with a 1940 - 1946 Chevy truck with original fenders and box? I have a 1955 chevy truck rearend on monoleaf springs and eight inch wheels with the correct back spacing to center the wheel between the box and the inside lip of the fender.

The distance between the box and the fender measures 11 1/2 inches, but I ***ume you need to leave room for side to side movement of the rearend. I do have a swaybar on the rearend but not a panhard rod or any other solid locator.

I'm curious what others are running on there trucks as well.

    Thanks,

I am using a Progressive Automotive Triangulated 4-Bar with a housing centered Moser 9 inch Ford. The rearend is 60 inches wide from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface. I will post some pictures later..
