Today we ****oned up the motor, brake lines, fuel line, and air lines...we also dropped the body back on the frame....need to finish the brakes, steering column, hook up the fuel tank, wiring harness and exhaust....a few other little things but should be drivable in a week or two! Thanks for the help Mark!

What's the deal? Are the sides different colors? I was just gonna give you some ****,if the body wasn't back on the car by now! HA HA! Progress looks great. That thing is ****IN LOW!!!!! Keep it up buddy...
What are you talking about? Its all one color..I think its just your eyes! Haha! Yeah, its getting spayed all black, with a purple flaked top and dash....Actually can go lower, but I'm cool with the way it sits...and look, my front wheels sit inside the fender now! Should be able to hit the Village Idiots here real soon!
Between your progress, watching Vida Guerra's *** and the bombas on "The Low Life," I'm having a pretty good little Saturday. Keep up the good work Chris, you're getting close! Bryan
stop that...! No really stop.... My damn ride is progressing so slow...damn. Well my 2 door conversion is 80% done then I can the wiring started.... mine may run this year...sigh Your ride is looking GOOD.... keep it up!
Hey, I have you and Rusk to thank for the 4 link!..And dont forget...Ive had this car for 3 years and have not driven it once!! Its only gone fast the last few months!! Was just checking out your recent build pics, and the conversion is coming out sweet...Seeing your build pics are what motivated me to get this thing on the road! Thanks again...see ya..."Cj"
Good example of how far the front wheels get pushed out with the camaro clip... and then with the original frame with the mustang II!! Nuff said.. Camaro.... Mustang II... Couldn't even get my finger in between the tire and fender before..now I can get my whole hand in..sideways!! Just say No! to camaro clips on 49-54 chevy cars......please.
Its the original modified...didn't want to spend the money for a new crossmember that sits up higher right now. Of course it hits the crossmember when its laid out like that.......without that crossmember...it hits the mustang II crosmember in the front and puts the front rack about a half inch off the ground! Kinda scary! So Im in the process of figuring out some kind of bump stop to install to keep it at least an inch off the ground in case anything happened with the bags. It can still drive..
