There is supposed to be a 200 car field. Have you been in the past? I think I have seen your car before.

Don't know much aboout the limit at the HAMB Drags, except that apparently it exists.
The Cow Pasture Reunion is/was an Ardmore Raceway deal in Ardmore,Ok.
The track has been purchased and is going to open next month. The guy who bought it will prolly keep 'em going and they will prolly also have some type of Nostalgia deal too. The new "official" website is not up yet that I know of.It was traditionaly by invite only with a 150 car limit, but now that they have lights I suspect that will change.

Rick Carrol,a long time homeboy there.Word around the campfire is that the paving equipment is there now and they are gonna improve the return road now and that Rick also purchased the scoreboards from Witchita Kansas and they will be installed soon.Whether or not before they open I don't know.
I don't think there are any plans to do anything to the track surface as of now though.Which ain't so bad as long as they put down some good sticky **** it oughtta be okay.

Hey thanks on the Ardmore info! Yes, I've been to the Hamb drags before....the Kan is like home to me. I really don't want to miss out so I hope we get a heads up when it comes time to enter. I'll have to check out Ardmore.....if you're like me nothing beats old time drags!!!

  10. I had heard they were going to open a paved circle track but not the 1/4 track or dirt. I think it'll be one of those "see it to believe it" things. Wonder what the cost will be to use it.
To have a dirt track, paved track, and a 1/4 track all in the same location sounds nice. Yes, very nice indeed! :D:D

Knarly!! Stuff like that is great but learned not to hold your breath. Most of the time it never works out....money or one thing or another. Look what almost happened to MoKan....some ***hole always tries to screw it up!!!

Go to www.woodardracingandhotrods.com and click on our Central State G***ers ***oc. link, it will give you some details, plus you can look at some pictures of our cars. I think right now there is a little leeway in criteria! Personally, I think I'm pretty fun to race with!!! :p Although, I'm just the starting line girl, I try to keep these guys in line!!!

The guys are a great group, we try to have fun and not take ourselves too seriously...

so I read somewhere that you can camp at the track. Is that correct? A buddy and I are making the trek from corn country up north and were planning on crashing there. Read that it was a pretty good time for the folks that stayed. Is there a better plan? Reading the main page though it doesn't look like we can camp on Friday night. What's the best plan for a couple of fools who don't know no better? Thanks for the input.

440 acre project will also be the proposed site of an approx. 240,000 square foot - 6500 permanent seat Coliseum... whoa!
