Took these pics right after the hamb drags they got my juices runnin for a project. Stopped by the old mans house to tell him how the drags went and got to talkin about since the old yella henry j went to GA it would be nice to see another one in the burg. That old henry j the Weekender had used to get young and old folks alike smilin as he took her on a bonsai run up the three mile straight stretch towards the interstate. Gunna try to put the old rust bucket on an s-10 frame, V-8, then I'll have to tap the old mans brain bucket to remember how he retro fitted the straight out the side exhaust pipes. Since he built them plumb back in 1965 when him and his brother (Weekender) used to take her up to Mid America Raceway and Pacific Raceway, back in the day, for a weekend of fun. Looks like my summer is gunna be pretty full. Didn't mean to bring a tear to the six foot five 312 pound teddy bear. But I will enjoy having him and my nephews and my daughter and two or three cousins helpin me out to keep the hotrod tradition alive in an about a lil ole community in midwest Missouri.

Wowsers, I haven't seen a Henry J in a while. Lately though I have noticed a rash of Manhattans for sale around here. There's even a Darin.

Atch we have discussed this there are more Henry-J's within five miles of you house than you have ever seen in one place before, the other Henry-J????? And just so you know I have started rebuilding the carburators so I can put the YELLOW HOOD back on the old bird (thought that would make you happy Atch)!!
