This was the last weekend we had to finish things up on the Kart. We finished up as much as we possible could. There are still a few pieces at the platers, and upholstery shop, as well as waitng for the waterjet cut lettering for the doors (see other thread!)
These last things we can finish as they arrive this week. Kustom 7777, Jim is going to help us with the final detailing, and cleaning up, 57 mofojoe finished up a bit of TIG welding on the window trim, and air cleaners, and Lowandslow Billy helped with any and all odds and ends.
Friday night we take her up to the great pinstriper, ALan Johnson's to get it's final touches put on, the extensive pinstriping, the copper leaf lettering on the tailgate, and the cartoons next to it.
    Then it's Detroit bound!
Just some teaser pics, I won't show the entire truck til the rest of the trim is on it...but it may be after the big show, so if you really want to see it, "See'ya at Autorama!"

I was thinking about you waterjet problem.

You should call Orange County Choppers they are only a couple of hours away from you. Tell them what you are doing and see if they can help you out. 845-457-1992

Pictures don't even do it justice guys. This is easily one of the sickest of all time as far as I'm concerned.

I hope PETA doesn't try to throw red paint on the upholstery

Amazing work... You guys must have worked so hard for the last couple of weeks/month.
The result looks so great, and especially the coming couple of days when all the fine tuning and striping will take place will be so grateful for all who worked so hard on it.

Hang in there for the last couple of days... after the car has been entered to to show you all can lock your self in a hotel room and sleep for a week.

    Thanks for keeping us updated.

If anyone wants to see pics of the entire truck all at once just let me know and I will sell you an upload for $5.75 each. I gotta make some gas money for me and Vic for the long tow to Detroit! 8-P
