I like that body. 6" chop sounds a lot looking at the stock roof height. I like the I6.

Gauges are out of a boat. Mercury marine. I have a complete set. The set I have had a 4cyl. engine. I wonder if they can be switched to v-8? I like the coupe!! Cool car.

I like the gauges. What are your rear wheels? Looks good so far. 6" seems a bit drastic to me but that's just me.

Not to be offensive or non traditional, but there are some narrow rear ends with 6 lug patterns on the far east side of your local u pull it.

The rear wheels are 99-04? ford f150 or excursion sparea . They are 17x7 and firestone makes a 7.00 17. The front will be 19x3 9n ford tractor rims and coker has 4.0x19 tires. They should be real tall for that lakes look.i am hoping i can us the gauges or make them work . The faces are really cool.also i gave up on the chevy 6 lug rear end, but i still had to get a wide rear end for the tires to clear the body. tha body is the same width as a 30 31 model a at the front but the back is 8 " wider. i am also ythinking of chopping it 4 to 5" not the 6 i had planed.

The gauges I have look just like those and they came from a 1970 Mercury marine like I said. They are electric so you will have to get the temp, oil, and fuel senders to match. The speedo and tach you might be able to transfer the lense to anouther gauge. I'm not sure how the boat measures speed and the 5000rpm tach and 60mph speedo would ****.

here she is with a fresh 5" chop . you know you work on a car for awhile and you just look at it and deside now is the time to chop it . to day was the day. the rear window is less than 2 1/2 " tall. now i have to start welding and smelling that old wood smolder .

Saw it in person last night. Pictures don't do it justice. It's a lot wider than a model a in the back. Extremely Cool!

Very cool. I love the off brand body styles. The proportions are dead on. I think that is hard to do with an inline 6. You also nailed the stance.
