Funny, I'm at Orangethorpe and Imperial Hwy. We're all within about a 5-mile radius from one another.

that would be like the 19th or 20th of June. it's your gig, so you set a time when you want to start. i know some stuff about airbags so, i'll be glad to help out. but i don't know how to weld or anything like that.

so, plan this shit out so we all know what the deal is. some can bring beer, some can bring food, etc, etc. and those that want to come, step up and make it official.

Good point on the 19th. I might call upon a few of the locals next week to help me lift of the cab so i can make some templates becauase part of the rear is getting boxed. Starts at 11am. Oldtimer you're bringing your mig. Food would be nice and beer and cherry coke(thinkin about those who don't drink). Think carene tacos, chips, beer, dogs, beer, whatever? Would be nice if everyone brought somethin not all just beer. I'll be working on gettin all the material this week and will let everyone know how it goes. We will be doing the hamb thrash oc style on the 19th. Lemme know who's in. Brandon yer help with the bags will be appreciated should make everything go smoother since i got no experience with bags, would be nice to get court's mini truckin baggin ass out too. 19th is the set date. 38 olds coupe what i call a fat fendered bitch will lay her behind on the ground. I need input and I'll plan this whole thing out.

There's plenty of great mexican places near us. Mercado Davis over by me has killer Tamales and Tacos. I've heard great things about Talaquepaque (sp?) that's in old town Placentia but I've never been there. Shouldn't be too far from 38s place. I think the 19 will work for me.. gotta check with the Mrs. Hopefully she'll have pulled a shift for that Sat so I'll be totally free.

I've never messed with bags but I'm a fair to middling wrench with most things. I could also handle digicam duties. I've got a 4 megapixel Fuji with a 1gb microdrive.

I'm there. No 220 means I have to leave my tool of distruction (plasma cutter) home. I'll bring my sawzall and some Carne Asada. PM me the address/date/time.

Kinda nice to have a couple of retired mini-truckers (me and 133) close, huh?

  23. damn you have a plasma AND a tig...........i'm jealous.....
hey 38 the shop mig is a 220v also, only 110v unit i have is the baby arc.

Yeah, having the tools is the only reason I get anything done. If I had to screw around with dragging everything over to the shop out in Ontario, I would have to spend more time in traffic then working on my trucks...

So how does one know if the light socket is 220? I'm sure someone in here had a washer n dryer set up. Yeah could be nice to have a bigger turn around. Maybe I can convert? Court I might send yah a pm need to cut off the previous 4 link brackets on the 8 inch plasma sounds good. Guess Brandon can bring the sodas. Oldtimer likes cherry coke he might even hold your hand if you bring cherry coke. I'll get more carne and beer. Figure after anything dangerous like me with a sawzall is over whoever drinks can get hammered. I'll pm y'all the adress later on today date is set on the 19th 11am.

Check your Dryer plug. If it is a giant round plug with three prongs that you can't plug a regular extension cord into, that's probably the one! Lemme know because my buddy Marcel lives right there where Chapman and Commonwealth come togehter (right across the street from Big Dummy with the Hemi-powered Model A) and we could always run over to his place to use his 220 socket for the plasma.

  28. Bummer, I am festivating that weekend. I hope this becomes a thing we can do a lot this summer. I'm selling my '56 at the Greedy Guys party in Pomona so I'll be wanting to get stuff done on my '49. Between that and the 15 oz. Coupe I'll be busy for sure.

Yeah we should do this more often. Different car every 2 weeks or month? I could always convert to 220 right? I don't see no magical plug.
